You Are Not Your Body

Pressing on, your earthly body and brain reminds me [again] of the Mars Rover. It landed on Mars as a machine with the capabilities of searching for the signs of many things. Its senses are a lot like your consciousness, which is separate from your body. [Your senses] are there to investigate the many aspects of your soul, your personality, which is separate from your body. Think of your body as being [again] like the Mars Rover It is only there for your living and movement on Earth. Your body itself has no direct connection to your consciousness. Your brain, as I have mentioned, before is like a computer regulating your body with movement and your organs with life.

What I am trying to say is this. Most people living on earth are seeing themselves as a whole person in that their body is a complete picture of who they are. In other words, their body, mind and their brain are, when they think of their body, is who they are. The mature thought is that their body is the mechanism that allow a person to exist. A person being their consciousness, their personality, who they are in spirit. Like the Mars Rove, the mechanical parts, that is your body, which are really the mechanical parts of a living organism. You are not your body.
